This uplifting and exuberant rosé of Syrah brings its breezy seaside energy to any situation. This wine gives springtime freshness even in the deepest depths of winter, and has the mystical ability to turn your unkempt living room into the chicest coastal patio of your dreams.

The nose enchants, like an irresistible mess of ripe strawberries, juicy peaches and freshly-whipped cream. The palate, while just as delectable, exudes a coolness and clarity: think poached quince, seasoned with a healthy squeeze of pink grapefruit. Linear acid and buttery-soft texture create the perfect balance of food-friendly and unabashedly crushable.

This rosé longs to be enjoyed with a chilled lobster roll (mayo, not butter) and your favourite pair of beat-up white Converse.

THE STORY BEHIND THE WINE

LITTLE MONSTER - VOL V

I know it's time before he does. Alarm put on snooze for the second time, but I’ll gently encourage him to wake up. Routines are sacred, and without me, he’d be late.

Once he’s up, it's pretty predictable. A quick glance in the mirror after a glass of water. A rushed shower followed by a haphazard towel dry. Jumps into his work pajamas, and quickly combs his hair. I encourage him quietly, trying not to distract. He’s late after all.

A walk to the fire place, paws on his lap, a snuggle before I see him off. A couple of tasty treats for my troubles are always nice. A quick snooze after the door closes, and then it's back to work for me.

Mama will be up in a few hours.
