This is a silky and robust Pinot Noir that you just want to curl up inside– the perfect wine to compliment a cozy and romantic night in. On the richer side for a Pinot, its body is dense and layered with plush, velvety tannins. Like walking into the warmth of a candlelit cabin after a late-night wintry wander, the deep plummy nose is inviting, comforting even– the only place you truly want to be.
The palate drinks like the finest ninety percent dark chocolate bar you ever tasted, rife with woodsy, ancestral depth. Despite the intensity of dried cherry and cranberry fruit, the wine is still bone-dry, and closes out with a spicy, structured finish, echoed by a swirl of chewy caramel like a cheeky wink to say goodbye. Pair with slow-braised osso bucco, roasted root vegetables, and a game of after-dinner chess so riveting you’ll be reminiscing about it for years.

THE STORY BEHIND THE WINE
THE FOREST
Alone again, surrounded by trees. Walking through feels eerie, searching for something familiar. Far from home, finally a chance to show I can. Light drowned out, hard to breath the clean crisp air.
Suddenly, without expecting, strange becomes familiar. New stories emerge, and reflections coalesce into a picture. Alone becomes together, shoulder to shoulder we walk in the same direction.
Confusing as it is, time whips through like a cyclone. Light eventually breaks through, the forest floor reveals a path. The direction is not exactly clear, but ever trusting, following the beacon feels right.
